Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association Installs 2010 Board of Directors
On Wednesday, Jan. 13, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) installed its 2010 Board of Directors. The evening began with a cocktail reception and presentation recognizing the association’s 2009 award winners. Then, the 2010 Board of Directors took their oath of office, administered by Sen. Johnny Isakson.
Les Stumpff was installed as the 2010 HBA president. Stumpff has 23 years’ experience in the homebuilding industry, and he recently joined Standard Renewable Energy as its Southeastern region area manager. For the previous 20 years, Stumpff worked for Ryland Homes in Florida and Georgia; his most recent position was vice president/division manager for Ryland’s Atlanta division. Prior to joining Ryland, Stumpff was vice president of finance with Arthur Rutenburg Homes in Florida. Stumpff is also a licensed Realtor, and he has been an honorary board member of Special Olympics Georgia for the past 10 years.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is a 1,500-member, not-for-profit trade association affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Georgia and the National Association of Home Builders. The HBA is the sixth largest local homebuilders association in the nation and is dedicated to promoting, protecting and preserving home ownership by maintaining the housing industry as a viable economic force in the Atlanta area. The official charity of the HBA is HomeAid Atlanta, a non-profit organization that builds and renovates temporary housing for metro Atlanta homeless children, women and men.
